One of the most common pastimes for vintage audio enthusiasts is Advent Speaker repair. Not because they enjoy it but because it is a necessary point of the game. Once you know your model, you will be able to track down the proper reconing kit using a search tool like Google. You should also try to contact reputable dealers when looking for parts, quotes and genuine reconing kits (if available). A quality reconing kit will make sure you have all of the required instructions and materials for the next step.

The next step? Read the directions. Seriously, no 2 speakers are exactly alike so your best bet is to follow the directions in the reconing kit for your specific loudspeaker model.
